Who We Are
About This Site
A small Canadian team that checks slot facts before writing about them.
Our Story
This site started as a working notebook for a handful of players who got tired of slot reviews that repeated the same generic lines without checking anything against the studio itself. We picked Gold Fish Feeding Time as one of our early test cases because its own numbers are messy in a useful way — the operator lists two different RTP figures, and third-party pages disagree even further. That mess forced us to build a habit: read the provider's page first, note what it actually says, and only then look at what other sites claim. We kept that habit for every game we cover.
How We Research and Write
Our process is unglamorous on purpose. Before we publish anything about a slot, someone on our team pulls the game's page directly from Light & Wonder, screenshots the stated RTP, volatility, and max win, and files it away as the reference point. Anything a third-party casino blog says gets compared against that reference, not the other way around.
With Gold Fish Feeding Time, that meant flagging early that the official page lists both 94% and 96% RTP depending on configuration, while other sites separately report 95.89%. Rather than pick whichever number sounded better, we wrote down the range and said so once, clearly, instead of scattering caveats through every section of the page.
We also try to separate what a game actually does from what we simply couldn't confirm. If a mechanic like bonus buy isn't documented anywhere reliable, we say it's unclear rather than guessing at a number that fits the rest of the industry. That distinction matters more to us than sounding confident.
None of this makes us gambling experts or financial advisors. We're players and writers who happen to enjoy digging through provider documentation before anyone touches a spin button.
Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site lead to partner casinos. If you sign up through one of those links, the operator may pay us a small commission. That arrangement never changes what we write about a game's math, features, or availability — the research comes first, and the links are added afterward, not the reverse.
We don't receive extra payment for saying anything positive about Gold Fish Feeding Time or any other title, and we're not paid to hide known issues like unclear bonus buy pricing or the RTP discrepancies mentioned elsewhere on this site.
This site is intended for players 19 years of age or older, and 18 or older in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. We don't run any games ourselves, and nothing here should be read as a promise of winnings or a strategy for beating the math behind a slot.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, we'd rather you close the tab and reach out to a support service in your province than keep reading reviews on our site.
